Sign-Up & Getting Started
Everything you need to create your account, get verified, and make your very first gold purchase — step by step.
Before you start the sign-up process, make sure you have the following items ready. Having them on hand means you can complete the entire process in one sitting — typically under 10 minutes.
When photographing your NRIC or passport, ensure the image is sharp and well-lit with no glare, shadows, or cut-off edges. All four corners of the card should be visible. Poor-quality images are the most common reason KYC approval is delayed.
Gold Evolution is a referral-based platform. You must have a referral code from the person who invited you in order to complete registration. If you do not have one, please ask the friend or agent who introduced you to the platform.
Follow these steps carefully. The form is straightforward, but a few fields are easy to overlook — pay close attention to the referral code and the NRIC photo uploads.

Open your web browser and go to goldevolutionsg.com. You can do this on a phone, tablet, or computer.

On the homepage, tap or click the "Get Started" button. This takes you to the registration form.

Fill in your First Name and Last Name exactly as they appear on your NRIC or passport. These names are used for your account and any official documents.

Enter your Email Address. Use an email you check regularly — a verification link will be sent here. Double-check for typos before moving on.

Enter your Mobile Number in Singapore format (e.g.
+65 8123 4567). This will be used for account notifications and WhatsApp support. -
Enter your NRIC or Passport Number in the identity field. For NRIC, this is the 9-character alphanumeric code on your card (e.g.
S1234567A). -
Upload a clear photo of your NRIC front (the side with your photo and personal details). Tap the upload area and select the photo from your camera roll, or take a new photo directly.

Upload a clear photo of your NRIC back (the side with the thumbprint and address). For passport holders, upload a single clear photo of the bio-data page instead.

Select your Purpose of Purchasing Gold from the dropdown (e.g. wealth preservation, Shariah-compliant savings, or investment & capital growth). This is required for compliance.

Select your Source of Income from the dropdown (e.g. employment / salary, self-employed, or investment returns). This is required for anti-money-laundering (AML) checks.

Enter your Next of Kin details — their full name, your relationship to them (e.g. spouse, parent, sibling), and their contact number. All three are required and kept on file as your emergency contact.

Enter your Referral Code — the code given to you by the person who invited you. This field is required and links your account to the agent who referred you.

Create a Password. Choose something secure — at least 8 characters, mixing letters and numbers. You will use this to log in going forward.

Review all the details, then tap "Create Account". Your application is submitted and you will be taken to the next step: email verification.
If you are filling in the form on a mobile phone, take the NRIC photos in advance and save them to your camera roll. This makes the upload steps much faster than trying to photograph your card while also filling in the form.
The name you enter must match your NRIC or passport precisely. Mismatches — even minor ones like missing a middle name — can cause your KYC verification to be delayed or rejected.
As a regulated precious metals dealer under the Ministry of Law Singapore (PSPM Act 2019), Gold Evolution is required by law to verify the identity of all customers before allowing purchases. This process is called Know Your Customer, or KYC.
The good news: you have already done the hard part. The identity documents you uploaded during registration (your NRIC front and back, or passport) are what our team reviews. There is nothing more for you to upload at this stage.
What Happens During KYC Review
- Our compliance team manually reviews your uploaded documents to confirm your identity.
- They verify that your name, NRIC/passport number, and photo all match and are legible.
- They confirm that the document is valid and has not expired.
KYC review is typically completed within 1 business day of submitting your registration. Applications submitted on weekdays before 5pm SGT are usually reviewed the same day. Weekend submissions will be processed on the next business day.
Once your KYC review is complete, you will receive an email notification letting you know whether your account has been approved. If approved, you can log in immediately and start making purchases.
While awaiting approval, you can log in, explore the dashboard, and browse the gold catalogue. However, you cannot make any purchases until your identity has been verified and your account approved. This is a regulatory requirement that we are unable to waive.
If Your KYC is Rejected
In the rare case that your documents cannot be verified (usually because the photos are blurry or incomplete), you will receive an email explaining what went wrong and asking you to resubmit. Simply log in, follow the prompt to re-upload clearer photos, and our team will re-review your application.
Place your NRIC or passport on a flat, dark surface. Use your phone's standard camera (no flash) in a bright room. Ensure all four corners of the card are visible and the text is sharp. Avoid screen screenshots or photocopies — only original photos of the physical document are accepted.
Once your KYC has been approved and you receive your confirmation email, you are ready to buy your first gold. The steps below walk through a one-off purchase paid via PayNow — Singapore's instant bank transfer system. (You can also pay by debit card, and set up automatic monthly savings — see the tip at the end of this section.)

Log in to your account at goldevolutionsg.com and go to your Dashboard.

Tap or click the "Buy Gold" button. This opens the purchase form.

Enter the SGD amount you wish to spend. The minimum purchase is S$50. As you type, the platform will show you in real time how many grams of gold you will receive at the current live rate.

Review the order summary carefully — confirm the amount, the gram weight you will receive, and the live rate. When you are happy, tap "Confirm Order".

The PayNow screen shows the amount and your account reference — your GE number (e.g.
GE0000001). Use this as your PayNow payment remarks. -
Open your banking app and make a PayNow transfer to the UEN below. In the remarks / reference field, enter your GE number.

Return to Gold Evolution and tap "I've Made Payment", then upload a screenshot of your PayNow confirmation. This is the step that places your order and submits it for verification — if you close the screen before this, no order is created and you are not charged.

Done! Your payment will be verified and your gold allocated to your account — typically within 1 hour. You will receive an email confirmation once complete.
Your order is only placed when you tap I've Made Payment and upload the screenshot. So do both: (1) make the PayNow transfer with your GE number in the remarks, and (2) upload the payment screenshot in the platform. Missing the screenshot means your payment cannot be matched to your order.
The gram amount shown when you confirm your order is based on the live rate at that moment. Your final allocation is calculated at the rate when your payment is verified — which is usually within minutes. Gold prices can move slightly in between, so the final grams may differ marginally from the estimate shown.
Your screenshot should clearly show: the PayNow recipient name (Gold Evolution Pte Ltd), the UEN (202443296N), the SGD amount transferred, and your GE number in the remarks. Screenshots that cut off any of these details may require manual follow-up.
